Bible Study

"Although it is impossible to obtain exact figures, there is little doubt that the Bible is the world's best-selling and most widely distributed book." That's a quote from Guiness World Records. This is a book that was first translated into English in the 1300's and has now been translated into over 300 other languages! So, what's so special about this book? We sometimes refer to the Bible as "God's word" and in fact it is a message from God to the whole of humanity.

The Bible is big, it's divided up into two sections called the "Old Testament" and the "New Testament" and within those sections there are a total of 66 smaller books, 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. You may wonder where to start and there are some parts that are difficult to understand at first reading. There are lots of tools to help you understand the Bible and to help you begin to study it and we list some links below that we recommend. We hope that you will take the time to dig in to the Bible and find out what it has to say to you.
